An ROTC Cadet at A&T, I was commissioned in December 1977. Enrolled in graduate school at Golden Gate Seminary in Mill Valley, CA in 1978, graduating with the Master of Divinity degree in 1980. Entered active duty as an Army Chaplain Captain in January 1981. For the next 30 years and 14 days, I served in an assortment of assignments around the world to include Kansas, Washington State, Texas, Georgia, New Jersey, Virginia, the Pentagon, Republic of Panama, South Korea, Bosnia, Johnston Atoll. Retired with the rank of Colonel in January 2011.
What is a message you would like to share with your Aggie family, friends and relatives?
My four years at A&T were among the best of my life. In addition to my academics, I enjoyed participation in ROTC, the University Choir, Student Union Advisory Board, Political Science Society, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
I made life-long friendships and developed as a man. My most memorable accomplishment was accepting Jesus Christ as my Savior in my Junior year, 1976.
I appreciate the AGGIE experience then and now. AGGIE Born – AGGIE Bred…
