Can you share your experience serving in the military?
I commissioned in 2007 as an aircraft maintenance officer. My first assignment after graduation was at Nellis Air Force Base in North Las Vegas, NV. There I would meet two of my now best friends, work on various airframes, deploy in support of military operations twice. From there I went on to South Korea, Ohio, Texas, followed by another deployment, and now North Dakota. The Air Force has taken many many places, and I’ve experienced many ups and downs. I met my now husband when I was stationed in Ohio, and we welcomed our first child in Texas. I will be leaving for my fourth deployment in July to be the squadron commander for the historic 332 (Red Tails) Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron.
